Are you searching for wood side tables for a small space? Then take a look at these styles that I found in my search online. I’ve been keeping an eye out for one to replace a little metal one I already have. Mine had a glass top that shattered when my husband stumbled and knocked it over.
Luckily he fell in the opposite direction of where the glass shattered! I did get a piece of plexiglass cut for it but I’d like to find something made of wood that maybe has a drawer. I’d like something a bit more stable that won’t be knocked over as easily and will fit with our traditional style of decor.
These are a few pieces that are the right size for my space. The first piece, while rather simple and plain, reminds me of the side table my grandfather had in the mudroom on the farm. It was the only room he was allowed to smoke in inside the house. He kept his cigarettes and lighter in the drawer and his ashtray on top. At the end of a long day of farming he’d sometimes sit in his rocking chair and enjoy a cup of coffee while he’d smoke a cigarette.
